Back on the Treadmill

Just 3 days per week, 30 minutes per day. That’s it. I get myself up in the morning and think about nothing but knocking out those 30 minutes on those workout days. It’s mind over matter.

Have been eating a whole food plant based diet for 9 days now. I feel great. I have so much more energy.

Changing the diet alone only works with the moderate dish of exercise. I am on my way to better health.

    By some chance, could you indulge a few recipes? I need to do the same and just not sure where to start. I also have a man in the house and I need man friendly beginner recipes.

    • Right now it is just salad, vegeburgers, rice, black beans, and grilled vegetables. I am eating healthy grain breads, nuts, granola with almond or coconut milk with blueberries for breakfast. I have been looking into recipes myself. Forks over Knives is a great place to start.

        Thank you. That gives me a starting point. I think we’re all in a rut. I’ve been a care giver to three family members and am still a caregiver to one, Its unbelievably hard to fix separate meals and little money and little time.
        I’ll watch Forks over Knives. I’ve got NetFlix.
        Hoping the journey is smooth for all of us.

    • I am so excited with the whole food plant based diet that it seems to be fueling my energy. I have already dropped 8 pounds with little effort. I watched the movie Forks over Knives on netflix and was convinced that this is the only way to live.
