Diabesity Challenge Day #51 – A1C Results are In… 5.6

Screen-Shot-2015-01-27-at-1.21.35-PMI was surprised yesterday to find a copy of my blood test in the mail from my doctor’s office. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my A1C test showed up with the numbers 5.6. I am still in the range of that of a non diabetic. Woo Hoo!

I feel incredibly confident about the actions that I have been taking and this furthers my cause to keep pushing harder each day. In fact I will continue to push to the very limit as I continue to raise the bar just slightly with each workout. I will continue to question every morsel of food that goes into my body. I will continue these things until I find a happy zone where I feel completely comfortable in my body. Healthy, lean, and strong. I know that I have the ability to get that A1C number down even more with continued hard work.

It is all pretty simple from this point on… Do the things that are working and get rid of the things that aren’t. Expect to see continued progress, but also understand that progress in earned through hard work and comes very slowly. I would love to wake up to see a washboard midsection in my mirror, but just knowing that I am getting a little closer to that each day is enough to keep doing the right things. It’s really all about the journey and not so much the destination. The truth is that the destination is just another stepping stone toward the end and the end really only comes in death. So why not simply enjoy the journey and live each day as if it is the most important day of our lives. Its all about today and today is going to be incredible!tumblr_static_screen_shot_2013-07-15_at_2mm ______________________________________________________________
