I am feeling even more energy today than I did yesterday. Day #3 of this new lifestyle change that I call “Window Fasting” is already showing some incredible results. On the scale I have dropped 1.2 pounds and my focus at work yesterday was incredible. My body seems to be adapting to this new daily routine with ease. Even as I approached lunchtime yesterday it seemed that I didn’t feel the same anticipation with hunger as I do when I normally eat breakfast.
With the added exercise each day I am adding to speeding up my metabolism and the fat burning process that my body is going through. Yesterday was treadmill and today I will be working with lighter weights and higher reps. I am interested to see if I feel the same way today doing resistance exercise as I did yesterday doing cardio.
I truly believe that this program will work well for me in the long run the same as it is showing good results in the short term. While exercise is an important part of any body fat reduction program I believe that the true source of progress is in the balance of foods that we eat and when we eat them. All foods should come from natural sources. In our modern society that we live in it is difficult to avoid processed foods, but by trying to be mindful about each meal it can be accomplished. While working this plan I feel myself desiring more vegetables than anything else. More updates to come…
