So after 3 whole months without working out I am once again back on board. Although I only walked 20 minutes on the treadmill it is still the spark I needed to slowly work my way back into the world of daily exercise.
So what happened during the last 3 months? Well first off I packed on 20 pounds since the summer months. I pretty much ate whatever I decided to eat and didn’t worry too much about Type II Diabetes. It seems that since I have been taking a probiotic twice a day my blood sugar numbers have dropped down between 90-100 even with eating sugar and carbs.
But the sugar and carbs did pack on body fat and as I have discussed before we naturally need to do during the winter months to stay healthy.
So I suppose that what I will be working on is a pre-workout, workout each day until I see signs of spring. At that time I will naturally be inspired to take the workout to another level. But for now it is important to take it slow and start adjusting my diet slightly each day. Nothing too drastic, just slowly reducing my calories slightly and allow my body to adjust without shocking it. I will once again be posting my blood sugar and body weight at the end of each post.
