It is Sunday an with my current workout plan I declare Sunday’s as a day of rest. I think I read somewhere of someone else declaring Sundays as a day of rest… Hmmm. Anyway, the workout has been working wonderfully so far as I have not even had the smallest level of soreness with the increase of protein each day. The only complaint I have had so far is the increase in my blood sugar numbers and I am hoping that I will soon work through this. If I don’t see any changes in a month from now I will make necessary changes to bring my numbers back down.
We received news that will may yet be having another addition to our family and I am certainly delighted to welcome more grandchildren into the world and I believe there will be more to come. It is funny though that when I look in the mirror I don’t see the face of a Grandfather, but I suppose that most Grandfathers felt this way when grandchildren arrive into their worlds. I believe that my own memories of my own grandfather were when I was in my 20’s so I am figuring that my own grandchildren will remember my face when I am in my 70’s.
The world is changing so much I can’t even imagine what it will be like 20 years from now. I believe that I am pretty wise in my 50’s but how much more will I learn about life before I reach 70 years old. Maybe I can just sit upon a tall mountain and speak wise words to the younger family members. The problem is that when I was that young I thought I know everything and my grandchildren will probably be in the same pattern of thought. No, the best I can do is to continue to write this stuff down and hope that one day they will turn to it and learn from my experiences in life.
