Microsoft Office for Mac 2016

606fa77e525e7f2223915fb6a7b871a1One of the things I do miss about working on a Microsoft computer is Office and though I have tried several times to work with Mac’s office programs I have to admit that Microsoft Office is a superior product. Well, Microsoft Office 2016 is now available for Mac users and I am in the process of downloading it now. As a minimalist there are certain things that I pride myself in and one of those things in keeping a good track on my finances. For years I have been using Microsoft Excel to crunch numbers and track my daily activities and have created many spreadsheets that assist me in this task. I tried to transition over to Mac’s product called Numbers, but it is just not the same. So I now I will have the best of both worlds as I am working with a stable operating system of a Mac while still being able to work with my favorite Microsoft product. I probably could of pushed forward to learn more about working with Numbers but as I use Excel both on the job and off it makes life so much easier sticking with what I know. I will talk more about this product as I start working with it on my Mac.

I have the day off today while Sharon has to work so I will be trying to whip this house back up into some type of order. It’s not messy, but there is still a lot to be done after having house guests from changing the sheets on the beds and pillowcases and washing them all along with towels and wash clothes. We have a ton of food left over and I can’t remember when our fridge was so filled. Some sweeping and moping and of course there is the yard that I didn’t have time to get too last weekend.

It looks like my body is starting to come back to normal once again and that certainly feels good. Soon I will get back into working out a little bit once again as it has been quite awhile now.

Be sure to post a blog about how you like Office 2016 on a Mac. I’m considering that option, but I know Office on Mac doesn’t always work the same as Office on Windows.

Nice to have you back on here….now the next big event is listing the house…???

  3. Did you get Office 365 or did you buy the software in the bundle?

  4. Hope you enjoyed your day as a domestic goddess Billy!

  5. I have office 2016 on my laptop with Windows10. But I haven’t had a chance to really use it yet, currently on sabbatical (see mybucketlisttravels.wordpress.com). I get confused trying to use Numbers on my iPad. I did have Word and Excel on it as well, but I removed them. I found it easier just to use my laptop for those items.
