A Child of Nature

3331598593_dc2cbc8fa2_bWhile picking fresh vegetables this morning I thought about the increased level of energy I felt in this environment. It is the same feeling I get while hiking up to a mighty waterfall or swimming in the ocean. There are certain vibrations that happen deep inside me during these times and I can also feel it when sitting down to eat a meal fresh from nature. At times of play whether it be running or lifting heavy things I also get this arousal deep within me that is almost like a signal letting me know that I am one with the natural world.

The message that I learn is that to be truly content I need to stay attached to this living, breathing world around me. Through this environment that surrounds me and is a part of me I feel most at home.

I am just a child of nature and I am one with the pure, unadulterated natural world I live in. I am a child of nature. All memories of joy bring me back home to the fields of great plains, the unspoken glory of the mountain and the roar of a might shore. This world lives within my heart as much as it lives outside my body. It is who I am and who I will always be. A Child of Nature.

I feel the most complete when sitting at the ocean….all quiet but the constant water trying to lap the shore… The deep, quiet still of the forest, breathing out the air for all…rustle of tree branches over head reminding me they are here for us….the big blue spacious sky of the grass lands and tall gray mountains reaching for the clouds….. I too sitting in my yard, taking in the beauty of what a simple plant can offer….. To be one with what has been given to us on this big glorious planet, To say the least a magical moment….. good morning….

  3. I felt this way life other night as I watched the night sky and caught a few glimpses of the meteor shower,. Although looking at all those stars makes you really understand how small we really are in the universe. I love the night sky as it brings me back to my childhood, full of mystery and awe.
