Yesterday I did much better with staying active and made a few small adjustments to my diet and again both my blood glucose level has dropped along with my body weight. Today is Monday where I am back to a work week where I will be doing more walking during the day along with running up and down the stairs at work. It isn’t much, but it is enough to keep things inside my body running in a positive way.
I have decided to change up my workout plan once again and will be doing cardio each day along with 1 set of bowflex exercises. I want to start to focus more on burning fat each day. I am aiming at just a vigorous 2 mile walk each day after working my muscles. This workout might take a little more time each morning and there will be less time to write in my blog so I may just have to simply monitor this workout on it without doing any creative writing for a while.
The reason that I am moving more in the area of cardio is the fact that I should be doing some type of activity each day like basketball, tennis or some other form of recreation. Being that it is not readily available for folks my age here in the area of the country I live in and the fact that I have an 11 hour work schedule each day I feel that I can make up for a little of it by picking up my cardio through the treadmill or walking. So let’s call today cardio burn day #1 and see where it takes me. I am not looking for weight loss and could care less about it but I am looking to reduce the body fat that is causing my pants to fit a little tighter than they used to.
