Who are you? Really?

1433739537_ca1b8401bd“Minimalism is less about money and more about adjusting our lives to become in line with our souls and the simple balances of nature. There is someone deep inside all of us who is our actual selves, the one who we really are and the one we were always meant to be. Minimalism clears away all of the clutter that stands in the way of finding that person deep inside. It is not actually the stuff that needs clearing, but the thoughts of the stuff that plays on our minds each day and stuff comes in many forms. We are what we think about most of the time and if it is things that don’t feed the soul then we are living a lie.” Billy Brennan

I woke up a little later this morning, but still managed to get almost 25 minutes on the treadmill. Yesterday was a good day for eating, although there were certain carbs that I know I shouldn’t have taken in. My glucose numbers are coming down and are slowly getting back to normal.

About SimpleLivingOver50

At 53 years old I am starting to realize how life changes both physically and emotionally. I strive for a life of simplicity. I am winning the battle with type II diabetes, created a plan to have all debt paid off in 4 years including the house, taking advantage of every opportunity to live life to it's fullest through adventures in nature, hiking, biking, loving and learning.
