It’s been a long week of spending time in Florida and today I am ready to get back to reality. I will be walking on the treadmill this morning and trying to get back to a comfortable place in my daily workout routine. I did pretty good with my diet yesterday but without any form of physical activity and just 3 hours sleep yesterday I am sure that my body was in a bad place and it showed in a 144 glucose reading this morning. I am just brushing this off and moving forward to get back into the groove.
I am walking a little over 3 miles this morning and would like to get that up to 4 miles every other day. I am being mindful of my water intake and will remember to drink plenty of it during the day. Yes, today is the first day of the rest of my life and I am going to make it a day that I can be proud of.
Yesterday my diet consisted of Cottage Cheese and Blueberries for breakfast, 2 scrambled eggs for lunch and for dinner a Dungeness Crab and a fresh Salad from out garden. We couldn’t pass up the bargain in the seafood section at the grocers yesterday. For those of you on the East Coast who have never had the opportunity to eat dungeness crabs you are really missing a treat.
So this is my reset day and a new start to begin the journey once again to achieving outstanding health.
