Last Day of Beast Mode, Happy Independence Day to All

beastmode-featured-imageSo here we are at the last day of the 3 week Beast Mode Workout. It has been intense and has taught me a lot about my body. I have learned that even as a man grows older it is still possible to build muscle and be all you can be with consistency and explosive workouts. I learned that hunger can be controlled with added protein in the diet at specific times, and a Type II Diabetic can eat carbohydrates as long as the body is burning them.

The harder you work the more your body responds biochemically and after just 3 weeks muscle mass has grown significantly and I have acquired overwhelming feelings of youth, vigor and confidence. If I continued this workout I know that it would soon lead to the point where I can become massive if I chose to. I will certainly include this workout in my rotation in the future, but for right now I am taking it down for a week. My intentions are to do a lot of walking and keep my carb intake to a minimum while in Florida. I want to take in some vitamin D and burn fat as I have acquired somewhat of a small spare tire around my midsection. I will mix in some pushups, situps and squats during the course of the day, but will be mainly focused on burning fat.

135232-425x282-Flying_to_FloridaI will be flying out early tomorrow morning and may not have the opportunity to post anything, but be rest assured I will make sure I get in a few posts over the vacation. In advance I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day.

You’re an animal, but I mean that in a good way. 😉

Enjoyed an extra long workout myself this morning (which I’ll write about later) because I have the day off of work. Great way to end the week and slide into the weekend.

    Happy Independence Day.
