6-30-15 – Tuesday Daily Activity Report

So I make through yet another day of doing this crazy routine of maximized heavy lifting and protein fueling. My numbers are up again and now I know that it has more to do with retained water weight than anything else. Yes, inflammation. I have two more days of this three week journey then I will be doing nothing but brisk walks for a week in Tampa Florida. I am sure that I will see both my body weight and blood sugar go down.

Just a thought….maybe your body (regarding your #’s) is trying to tell you to slow down a little, what’s the rush….just wondering…and now your going to stop completely and put it in shock from its daily” push to the limit so to speak”, I was just wondering what happen to good ole moderation ?? All good things come from moderation, isn’t there a saying something like that ?….again just a thought…..I love that your pushing yourself, I wish I had that drive in me still…please accept my apologies for my pushy opinions, as I am not a professional or anything, ,but from the outside looking in, is where my view opinion comes in from….enjoy Florida and your family…..lovely State….I have family in Sarasota…beautiful beaches….kat

    • Thanks Kat, I always welcome you opinions. I will be doing a lot of walking down in Florida and taking in much sunshine and I will also be taking it easy. I love to conduct experiments on myself as this is the end of a 3 week long test to see where super heavy lifting would take me. I will be writing a full post on the results of what I call The Beast Mode Workout in several days. I am always looking for an answer to the right way to live with Type II Diabetes and all of these different experiments contribute to my knowledge bank that will someday fuel my book. It takes time and patience, but I really want to learn everything I can about myself and my own limitations. I really don’t know if all good things do come in moderation but I know quite a few do.

I agree then if your making your body an experiment, but just be careful, duh, like your not, your very on top of what’s going on in your body, inside and out….kudos….I know my body better than anyone else….a lot of people don’t understand that concept and expect MDs to know all…they are only there to help…get us test results…etc…I look forward to your post on beast mode workout and really look forward to reading your book….I just worry about the extremes on the body…but if you don’t try, you’ll never know…enjoy the sunshine in Florida….nothing like a good walk out in the sun….thanks for tolerating my opinions….LOL

      • Thanks, your awesome!

  2. Keep up the good work. As the first comment remarked you may be pushing a little too much too soon but as there is only two days left then I should carry on and at least mentally you will feel good because you will have completed your target. Only you know your body but honestly as one who suffers from inflammation in my joints to the point where I could sometime not walk, I would say respect that issue and possibly adjust that part of the training to reflect that going forward. All that is left to say is have a great week off Billy….!
