Dinner from the Garden

IMG_0239Last nights dinner consisted of some fresh picked lettuce that I pulled from the garden and it was delicious. I will be eating it for lunch today also. There is something very romantic about eating the food that you grow in your own backyard. I am really enjoying tending to the garden this morning as the thought of it providing me with healthy food gives me a very spiritual feeling inside. The elements of sunshine, water, earth and tender loving care brought about feelings of being connected to not only the earth, but the universe that I am a part of.
