Monday, Monday.

Happy-MondayMonday, Monday. Here we go again with another work week. I am getting this week started on the right track with low blood sugar numbers, a healthy weight and a rested body. So where will a week bring me? What opportunities will come my way? Life can be such a wonderful place when we stay open to all of the positive things around us. Take Monday morning for example, when in a world where Mondays have been given such a bad name as it marks the end of a weekend. But what if it were an opportunity to move into a work week feeling completely recharged because of the two days of mental rest before it. What supercharged, positive energy can you bring into your workplace today? By just changing your attitude about Mondays is there a possibility that you could spread this energy throughout your workplace? I know one of the emotions that I am bringing to work today is that of gratitude. I have a place to go to where I can contribute my knowledge and skills and earn some money. A chance to spend some good quality time with people who dedicate their time at work each day. Mondays really are not so bad. Many people are not working right now and would kill for a bad day at work vs not working at all. Those of us lucky enough to have a place to earn a living are the lucky ones. So what are you bringing with you to work today?

Dinner- Steak, Salad

    Attitude is everything. What’s beautiful is each of us has the right to decide for ourselves whether it shall be positive or negative. We then get to live with our decision. Make it a great Monday!

    • Yes, I read that in a book I read but cannot remember the name of. The statement was this, “If I say something that upsets you is it my fault that you feel upset, or your fault by choosing to feel upset”. Really makes you think about choices that we rarely think of.

It is an every day battle, but as you state, fitness is important for keeping those sugar levels down. Being outdoors, simplifying life, sleeping well, de-stress. Good for you! Thanks for posting!
