I Love Podcasts

20140827_211957_4052_670290The first day of return to work went well although I am not too excited about sitting in one place for 9 hours. I had a routine of running up and down 3 flights of stairs that I will have to start doing again along with taking short walks to break up the sitting. My blood sugar is up slightly but yet again still in good range and I noticed that my body weight is starting to drop once again. I know that I have written articles in the past about sitting too long and all of the dangers that come along with it. I will have to read them as a reminder to keep moving during my work day.

The one good thing about driving to and from work each day is that I am once again listening to my favorite Paleo podcasts on Itunes. Latest is Paleo, Paleo Magazine Radio, Paleo Solution Podcast, Livin’ La Vida Low Carb and the Primal Blueprint Podcast are among my favorites. By listening to positive things during the course of the day, not only does it keep me inspired and on track with my way of living, but it also gives me a form of education about certain subjects in the field of wellness. What better way could you think of spending your commuting time? This is especially true for that morning ride to work because we are getting our work day started on a positive not and we are already starting that thinking process that we will be utilizing during the course of our work day. And I find that on my way home for work podcast offer a wonderful way to slowly take it down.

    When I had a drive to work, I listened to books on CD. I loved my alone-time and that I got to “read” books I’d otherwise not had time for… it was wonderful. I can soooo relate! Enjoy the job and best wishes on your success!

    One of my sons loves to listen to podcasts, but in his case, they’re usually about world history. Interesting past time for a guy studying to be an engineer.
