03-08-15 – A Little House on the Pier

So here we are in Tampa this morning. We are staying in a little house built on pier going out into a river, and it is both strange, beautiful and mysterious all at the same time. In the distance I can see downtown Tampa just past the ducks waddling down the river. The temperatures are expected to go to 79 degrees today and we will be having a BBQ with the family here. It should be just wonderful. I certainly welcome the warm weather and the sunshine as it has been a long winter.

It is romantic sitting here writing in this small house so far from Oregon and I feel the same way a famous writer may feel when they stay places that are distant from there typical lives. There are no pressures and time is a non factor. I am skipping the workout this morning and will be looking for the opportunity later to walk or hike. Right now I am just in a state of total peace and feel totally connected to the environment around me.
