Blood Sugar down, Weight down? Go figure… So after several days of increased weight it seems that my body is now reversing and ridding itself of retained water. Trying to figure all this out on a daily basis will drive a man insane. So I turn to the mirror and ask myself, “Self? How are you feeling today?”, self looks back at me and smiles, “I have not felt this good in a long, long time.” The bottom line is that this is what really matters.
Stay strong, believe in yourself and simply do the very best you can each day to be the healthiest person you can be. All of the other crap that we worry about so much each day will all happen, like losing weight and getting toned. Just stay the course each day and you will get there.
One of the things that I love to do each day is read the posts from others here on WordPress in the categories of “Weight Loss” and “Healthy”. I read about so many people on their own missions to achieve success at becoming healthy. There are so many eating styles that I see like Paleo Diet, Keto Diet, Whole 30, Vegan Diets and Raw Diets. And there are so many workout styles like Yoga, Walking, Running, Cycling, and all of the different workout routines in the gyms. I look at all of these different folks all doing their things and trying to figure it all out as I am doing the same each day and it makes me smile.
It is so easy to get caught up in your own thing that you pretty much shut everything that everyone else is doing out of the picture. We humans tend to become over critical and protective of our own particular beliefs at any given time. But the truth is that anyone who steps into this arena of better health is doing the right thing at their given time. I remember going through so many stages of diets and workout routines throughout my life. Right now I am on a Paleo Adventure with a mix of walking and strength training, but next year I may be in a gym doing Crossfit. It really doesn’t matter what you are doing as long as you are doing something. Continue learning and working and simply stay the course.
