02-06-15 – Friday – Creatine Day #1

Just as I predicted my blood sugar spiked over night after eating pasta for dinner. So as much as I love homemade spaghetti sauce, I will have to find a way to eat it without the pasta.

I have made the decision to start taking creatine each day. I don’t know what the effects on my body it will have, but if it proves true to past studies it should help reduce the amount of sugar in my blood. I am taking 1 tablespoon with my morning coffee with a heavy helping of half and half. At this rate my body should be fully loaded in 30 days and I should start seeing results at that time. According to many sources taking more than 5 grams per day could cause bloating, gas and stomach cramps. For this reason I am keeping it a minimal dose. There is a good possibility that it could help with joint pain also. We shall see.

Blood Sugar – 113, Weight 165.8

Creatine – Day#1
Bowflex – LEGS
Squats- 100/100- 20, 18, 16
Calf Raises- 100/100- 15, 15, 15

Breakfast – 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, Coffee with 1 Tablespoon of Creatine
Lunch – Meatloaf, Mixed Vegetables
Dinner – Veal, Spinach
