YOUR KID ON SUGAR
Studies find most children with ADD and ADHD respond positively to decreased sugar consumption, and increased essential fatty acid supplementation (especially EPA and DHA) suggesting these conditions may be associated with nutrient deficiencies. Consider decreasing sugar intake and increasing fish or flax oils in children with ADD or ADHD.
HOW CURE THE COMMON COLD
A study by CW Crampton published in 1944 in the NY State J Med found that 82.1% of 112 patients given cod-liver oil containing 150,000 IU’s of Vitamin A and 15,000 IU’s of Vitamin D were cured or mostly cured of cold symptoms in one day (30.3% symptom-free and 51.8% almost symptom-free). Study protocol gave the full dose on day one, 1/3 the dose on day 2, and 2/3rds dose on day 3 if symptoms remained.
