For those who care about their health, this is a must read. Within the US we have allowed ourselves to over indulge on all the great foods and our bodies are starting to show it. This book covers issues such as sugar and caffeine addiction, what to do about it, and the issues it can cause in your body, short term and long term.
The Author, David Perlmutter, covers so many subjects involving a healthy lifestyle and how it can effect the brain. It was wonderful learning about how Alzheimer’s and dementia can be brought on by a sugar and grain filled diet. David gives us excellent insight on how to prevent degenerative diseases in the brain by removing gluten from our diet, cutting back on carbs, and leaving sugar behind.
