Some days you simply need a day off. Well today is one of those days. Yea, you have to listen to your body and when it is telling you to give it a little time to recover, well, who am I to argue with the forces of nature. LOL. I have said this once before and I will say it again. It is so easy to get caught up in the routine and the progress that it is easy to forget that part of that progress lies in the bodies abilities to recover from workouts. This recovery process takes place in periods of rest. This also works well for the mind. When you are pushing hard and reach a point of burnout, just take a step back to relax and recover. It will reap many rewards.
