01-09-15 – Friday – NO FRUCTOSE

Yay, my weight is back down under 170 once again and blood sugar down in the eighty’s. Life is good as I continue on my journey of commanding my lead against T2D (Type II Diabetes). I am still going strong with drinking black coffee, and that black coffee I drink is strong. Through listening to podcasts on my way to and from work I am picking up on some pretty interesting information. Yesterday I learned about how fructose is one major thing that a type II diabetic never wants to put in their body. This includes fruit. This lesson came from JJ Virgin who just wrote a new book called, “The Sugar Impact Diet“, and it is on my list of books to read. JJ stated that even without type II diabetes we should all pretty much just avoid fructose. This is pretty much something I already knew, but hearing it in a podcast just reenforces it in my mind. I am still just about 40% into Robb Wolf’s book, “The Paleo Solution“. Robb really gets into great details about what goes on inside our bodies when we eat a paleo diet versus eat a SAD (Standard American Diet). So this book will take me some time to finish as I am trying to learn as much as possible about some of the microbiology that goes on inside our bodies.

Bowflex – SHOULDERS
Shoulder Press – 100/100- 14, 12
Front Raises – 30/30- 12, 11
Side Raises – 30/30- 12, 9
Shrugs – 100/100- 20, 20
Situps – 100/100- 18, 18, 15
*(I changed my abdominal workout to – straight situp, left oblique, right oblique for each set)

Meals
Breakfast – 3 Eggs
Lunch – Steak, Broccoli
Dinner – Crab, Spinach

    Have you seen the youtube video fructose2.0?
    It helped me drop 30lbs
    Berberine supplement kerps my blood sugar in check :)
